Pan American Aerobiology Certification Board The PAACB, Inc. is a non-profit organization founded by members of the Pan American Aerobiology Association training and certification committee to address the need for verification of identification skills of analysts involved in quantifying airborne pollen and spores. Participation in PAACB activities is strictly voluntary.
The mission of the PAACB is to promote accuracy in the identification and quantification of airborne fungal spores and pollen grains by conferring certification to analysts who demonstrate a specific level of knowledge of aerobiology, and competency in microscopic identification.
Organizational Structure The PAACB consists of a Board of Directors, Advisory Board, and Scientific Committee. The day to day operations of the PAACB are administered by Jan and Chuck Higley.
